- Lot Description
Mario Lemieux is easily a top three all-time hockey player. He won two Stanley Cups with the Penguins in 1991 and 1992, leading the team as both a player and later as an owner. Lemieux amassed a multitude of individual honors, including six Art Ross Trophies as the league's leading scorer and three Hart Trophies as league MVP.
Presented is a true gem mint example of Mario Lemieux’s 1985 O-Pee-Chee rookie card. The card was graded a Gem Mint 9.5 by Beckett Grading Services and given three 10 subgrades. The card has pristine centering, immaculate corners, and razor-sharp edges. BGS assessed the surface as an 8.5, but it presents even better than NM-MT+ in our opinion. An amazing opportunity for any hockey collector to get their hands on an iconic card that is a true gem.
