The 1983 Baltimore Orioles had a special season led by future Hall of Famers Eddie Murray and Cal Ripken Jr. Finishing 1st in the AL with a 98-64 record, the Orioles met the Chicago White Sox in the ALCS and went on to win the World Series against the Philadelphia Phillis in five games. The offensive powerhouse racked up a league-best 168 homers during the '83 season with an on-base percentage of .340.
This lot offers Benny Ayala's personal players ring from the 1983 World Series. The size 12.5 ring, cast in yellow 10k gold, remains in good condition and displays "ORIOLES" across the face surrounded by a sea of nineteen authentic diamonds. The right shank reads "1983 World Series" along with the Orioles logo. The left shank is adorned by "AYALA" and a World Series trophy. The inner band of the ring is stamped with "Balfour 10k" denoting the ring's makeup.
The ring remains in EX condition with light wear overall and some toning due to use. An excellent opportunity to cherish a piece of history from the iconic 1983 Baltimore Orioles.
