- Lot Description
In 1969, the Baseball Hall of Fame hosted many of its inductees in a reunion golf tournament at the Cooperstown Country Club in Cooperstown, NY. 19 Hall of Famers who participated have signed this course layout sheet (6.5" x 5.25"). Mounted within a 12" by 14.5" frame against a navy blue background, the sheet is accompanied by an adjacent placard with the complete list. Most have signed in black ballpoint pen. Stan Musial has signed in black marker and Bill Terry has signed in blue ballpoint. All signatures are done very carefully in bold strokes, averaging 9/10 in our opinion. The classic cursive styles of Dizzy Dean, Chas Gehringer, Max Carey, etc. evoke a time with athletes really cared about their penmanship. A lovely vintage baseball autographed piece that would look great on anyone's office or man-cave wall. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA.
