- Lot Description
The 1957 Topps Football set consists of 154 cards and presents a unique design with a player portrait side-by-side with an action scene on the horizontal cards. The set is anchored by stars such as George Blanda, Frank Gifford, Bobby Layne, and Y.A. Tittle, along with rookie cards of Bart Starr, Johnny Unitas, and Paul Hornung. These three athletes are among the most powerful group of debut collectibles in any sport.
The four graded cards included are as follows - #94 Raymond Berry - SGV VG-EX 4, #119 Bart Starr - SGC VG 3, #138 John Unitas - SGC EX 5, and #151 Paul Hornung - SGC EX 5.
The remaining ungraded cards rank from VG to EX-MT in condition with a few examples that may be good candidates for the grading process. Overall, a very clean set which includes multiple star players and future Hall of Famers.
