- Lot Description
One of the most classic pairings from the 1950s is this 1957 Topps New York Yankees’ Power Hitters #407 issue of Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra amid their historic run of personal and team success. Freshly graded SGC EX/NM 6, it was previously in a PSA 8 (OC) holder until being recently cracked out and resubmitted. Centering is a far cry from its previous “OC” designation, as it looks balanced horizontally and slightly off vertically. Clean, sharp and bright everywhere else, this could easily pass for NM. A very nice example to add to one’s Mantle, Yankee or Golden Era collection.
