1930's journeyman pitcher, Carl Fischer was awarded this piece of AL championship jewelry when the Detroit Tigers captured the American League crown with a 101-53 record. Fischer went 6-4 during the season with a 4.36 ERA.
The offered piece of historic championship jewelry has plenty of surface wear but is actually in decent shape compared to other exemplars we've seen surface in the past. The 14K gold piece features an embedded diamond on the left shank above "Detroit '34" while the right shank has been worn down a bit over nearly a century of being worn and traded. This ring is size 11.5 and weighs 17.35 grams.
