Captured by the legendary Charles M. Conlon, this is from Bucky Harris' greatest seasons as a player-manager of the Washington Senators when he won the World Series in 1924 and the AL Pennant in 1925. Conlon’s photo captures Harris at the plate as he just begins to take his cut. The photo measures 8.5” x 6.5” and shows great contrast and toning throughout. The reverse of the photo is covered in catalog stamps and hand written notations including “Con” for Charles Conlon and The Ring Magazine credit. Great photo of the Hall of Famer by the game’s most famous chronicler. Encapsulated Type 1 by PSA/DNA.
