  Moonrise by R. C. Gorman is a limited edition Stone Lithograph on Paper. It was printed in 1998. It is hand signed and numbered by the artist. From the Edition of 225 it is print #85/225. "Moonrise" is one of Gorman's most in demand pieces. The piece is currently being stored flat, but custom framing options are available after the auction. Rudolph Carl Gorman (July 26, 1931 November 3, 2005) was a Native American artist of the Navajo Nation. Referred to as "the Picasso of American Indian art" by the New York Times, his paintings are primarily of Native American women and characterized by fluid forms and vibrant colors, though he also worked in sculpture, ceramics, and stone lithography.
