• Lot Description
  C Niblett (20th Century) - Untitled - Framed Original Western Oil Painting on Canvas. This is a spectacular western painting reminiscent of G. Harveys Line Shack Cowboys. This piece, as did Harvey’s tells the story of the men of the West who travel to remote locations and live and work there. For weeks and months, they live in a mans society, like bachelors, without the comfort or the cooking of their wives and mothers. For certain, it can be a hard life, but it’s a hard life surrounded by perhaps the most dramatic vistas in the world. As they depart the Trading Post with their supplies replenished, they are prepared for any challenges mother nature and the wildlife has in store for them. The details in this piece are amazing. The artwork is signed and dated 1980 in The Lower Left Corner. The actual painting measures approximately 23 X 35 inches. The framing package measures approximately 32 x 44 x 2.5 inches. Artwork is in excellent condition. Frame wear is commensurate with the age of artwork.
