Andy Warhol - THE STAR F and S II 258 - Magnificently Framed Diamond Dust Silkscreen from the Myths Suite 1981. Image is of Greta Garbo from the movie Mata Hari. The diamond dust outline surounding Garbo make the image pop from the paper. It is just a spectacular image! This work is an unsigned and Unnumbered Printer's proof, outside of the edition. Printed by Rupert Jasen Smith, New York. The print is not signed or numbered. Framed in a contemporary 3 inch black frame, floated on a black linen mat and protected by UV Plexiglass, the image and colors charge off the paper. One of Andy's most popular pieces from the Myths Suite. 38 x 38 inches on Lenox museum board. The embossed monogram (the blindstamp) of the printer Rupert Jasen Smith, NY. is present. Stamp from the publisher Ronald Feldman Fine Arts, NY also present. The AWAAB stamp is not present. Framed Dimensions are approximately 45 x 45 x 1.5 inches. This piece will ship ready to hang and love for a lifetime!
