- Lot Description
William L. Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn., "Regulator No. 11" wall clock, walnut case, paper on metal dial, maltese hands, 8 day, time and strike spring driven brass movement. This case was made to house a weight driven movement as evidenced by the guide pulleys still in the case, but now has a Gilbert spring driven movement. There is no evidence this case had a weight movement installed.nicely refinished walnut case in nice condition, original paper dial has age darkened with surface stains, original hands and pendulum, geneva stops on the movement are missing.
