Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., a grade "996" pocket watch, 16 size, 19 jewels, stem wind and lever set adjusted to 5 positions, ornately damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement and cut bimetallic balance, gold jewel settings, gold timing screws, and whiplash micrometric regulator in a 14 karat, yellow gold swingout case, arabic numeral, single sunk white enamel dial with luminous blued steel hands, serial #1282492, 80.3g TWCASE: A few shallow dents; Very fine scratches on outer surface of case; Crown shell worn through; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Filled loss at edge, 3:00; Lacking luminous compound. HANDS: Lacking luminous compound. MOVEMENT PLATES: Dirty; A few very fine scratches on plate, Ratchet wheel with speck of oxide and a few very fine scratches; Regulator with specks of oxide; Edge of train bridge with localized marring; A few screws with specks of oxide.
