A George III Sterling Silver hot water kettle on stand by Wallis & Hayne, London, 1810-11. Globular shape with grape vine handle, repousse floral motif overall. Hallmarks to the kettle include a lion passant, crowned leopard, king's profile, and date letter P, as well as the maker's mark for Thomas Wallis and Jonathan Hayne; the stand with lion and date letter only. Minor wear. Fitted with an International sterling silver burner. A small dent at the side of the kettle, under a peg for the stand. 14 1/4" high overall. Kettle weighs 38.76 troy oz.
