A Remington Model 1861 Army revolver. 44 caliber, percussion, 6-shot cylinder. Stamped "Patented Dec. 17, 1861, Manufactured by Remington's Ilion, NY" on the octagonal barrel, "AA" on the cylinder, and "S" inspection mark on the brass trigger, with loading lever. Serial #10866. Walnut grips. Some areas of minor wear. Barrel 8" long, 14" long overall. ESTIMATE $1,000-1,500
