- Lot Description
An early 20th century Sterling Silver coin purse by R. Blackinton & Co. Rectangular with chased scroll, floral and shell motifs about the exterior, engraved MLP script monogram of the period, opens to three hinged compartments including a mirror and coin holder. Stamped at the interior with manufacturer's mark along with "Sterling 5123". R. Blackinton & Co., North Attleboro, Massachusetts. A very small ding noted to one corner. 2 1/4 x 3 1/4" long (9 1/4" to the handle). Weighs approximately 5.66 troy oz. ESTIMATE $200-300
