Portrait of a young woman depicted in half-length, seated on a chair framed by tasseled drapery, holding a floral spray in her left hand, an open window at the side shows a landscape, swimming swans, and a country estate in the distance. Unsigned. Canvas is loose and rippling in two areas; some craquelure. Two minor holes at the right; flecked paint loss at the left side. Her hand has likely been touched up, and other areas.
