- Lot Description
A pair of Dalpayrat pottery lamps with Katona iron mounts, France. Each pottery base has a crystalline and matte celadon and butter yellow glaze, stamped "Dalpayrat, 2079, Made in France" underneath, fitted with Art Deco wrought iron mounts, marked "L. Katona, Beaux Arts, France" at the base. Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat, French, 1844-1910; Louis Katona, French, 1850-1933. Light crazing noted to the yellow glaze; spots of oxidation noted to the iron bases. Base 18 1/2" high, 29 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $3,000-5,000
