- Lot Description
An 18th century Philadelphia fan back Windsor armchair. Tall, seven spindle back with shaped crest and carved volutes, shaped arms, turned spindles with spool detail, shaped plank seat and turned stretcher base. Hickory and Birch construction with a Pine seat. Re-varnished on an old worn finish with slight traces of old Red, early pieced repair to seat, one arm an older replacement the other with repaired crack. 25 1/2 x 18 x 43 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $400-600
