An Italian Neoclassical Carrara marble planter. Round shape, the exterior carved in low relief with a garden setting and putti at various pursuits, raised on a fluted columnar support with acanthus leaves and paw feet, atop a separate rouge marble tripartite base. The bowl has approximately four small chips about the rim; the rouge marble base is repaired at one section. 21 x 50" high. ESTIMATE $800-1,200
