- Lot Description
A U.S. Harper's Ferry Armory Model 1842 Percussion Musket. 69 caliber, single shot muzzle loader. Stamped American eagle and "US" on the lockplate, "Harpers Ferry 1849" vertically, and the breech of the barrel marked "V/P" with eagle head. No serial number. Walnut stock with three barrel bands and ramrod. Some areas of minor wear. Barrel 42" long, 57 1/2" long overall. ESTIMATE $400-600
