- Lot Description
Lorenzo Cecconi, Italian, 1867-1947. A turn of the century oil on canvas depicting a spring setting with seven children at play. Signed "L. Cecconi Roma" lower right, stamped "Alexandre D'Atre Son, Fine Art Gallery, Roma" on the reverse of the canvas. In a painted gold frame of the period with remnants of a "Louis Katz Art Galleries" label adhered to the back. Some craquelure noted to the canvas. Image 22 x 15 1/4", framed 29 3/4 x 23 1/4" high overall. ESTIMATE $2,000-3,000
