A good late 19th century English bracket clock by J. C. Jennens, London (Jennens worked in London ca. 1863-1883). Triple chain driven fusee movement with quarter hour striking on a nest of eight bells, fancy engraved backplate and pendulum, gilded Brass dial with silvered chapter ring, cast and gilded spandrels and Chime/Silent subsidiary dial. Mahogany case with Gilded Brass fluted corner columns, Pineapple finials, lifts, foliate feet and pierced side panels. Only slight case wear, tarnish on chapter ring.
