- Lot Description
A Galle enameled glass perfume bottle/flacon. Rectangular shape with smooth shoulders and oval foot, light green with an etched nude astride a crescent moon above a pond scene at one side, a similar pond scene on the reverse with a figure pulling a rowboat ashore, heightened with gilt, enameled tendrils, and dark red mottling within. Signed "Emile Galle Nancy" in script underneath. Circa 1890. Emile Galle, French, 1846-1904. Light wear to the enamel, and wear to the gilt decoration. Lacking stopper. 4 3/8 x 4" high.
