An early 20th century French Porcelain and Gilt Metal box. Rectangular shape, the hinged cover is inset with porcelain painted with a portrait of a young woman, unsigned, opening to dark red velvet lining. Minor wear noted to the porcelain and a very small area along the metal edge. The thumb lift is slightly bent at one end. 3 1/2" wide. ESTIMATE $200-300
