Edward Weston, American, 1886-1958. Gelatin silverprint, mounted on board, printed later by Cole Weston. Entitled "Nude, 1936 (Charis, Santa Monica)", depicting a woman seated with her head down, legs crossed, and hands folded. Signed, titled, dated, and numbered 227N in pencil, with the Edward Weston facsimile signature stamp mount verso. Very good condition. Image size 7 5/8 x 9 1/2" high, mount 13 1/4 x 15" high overall. ESTIMATE $8,000-12,000
