A 19th century Historical Blue Staffordshire "Washington Mourning" covered sugar bowl by Enoch Wood & Sons. Oblong shape, transfer-decorated scene depicts Washington standing beside his tomb, with scalloped upper rim, surmounted by a stepped, domed cover. Impressed "Wood" underneath. Light crazing and several minor nicks to the glaze; a 2" repair to the shoulder and one handle. The lid has a 1" loss to the interior rim. 7" high overall. ESTIMATE $200-300
