Alfred Barye, French, 1839-1882. Bronze sculpture modeled as a prowling lion, entitled "Lion Marchant". Inscribed "Alfred Barye", having a dark green patina. Some wear noted to the patina due to handling, including small areas on the back. Early-mid 20th century. No foundry mark. 18 1/2 x 11 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $800-1,200
