- Lot Description
A 19th century Indian Export Brass-mounted Ebony casket. Rectangular shape with hinged lid, carved floral motifs about the exterior, an open interior with a hinged compartment to one side, two drawers at the front, flanked by handles. Minor nicks to the exterior; lacking escutcheon and several replaced screws to the hinges. An approximate 7" horizontal crack at one side, below the handle, and two small cracks noted to the lid. 16 x 10 1/4 x 8 1/4" high. ESTIMATE $300-500
