A 19th century Burmese Dha (Sword). Wide, slightly curved steel blade with an ivory grip carved with various figures, together with a wooden scabbard having silver banding and mounts fashioned as mythological beasts. No apparent markings. Fine cracks noted to the ivory, minor discoloration to blade, light scratches on the scabbard. Blade 19 3/4" long, 29 1/4" overall. Alternate spelling: Dah, Daab.
