Walter Benoldi (1914-1985) Italian, 'Bird Cage' Four Color Offset Reproduction. Still life depicting a birdcage with 2 green birds in it, a vase to the left with a bowl of fruit below it. Signature in the upper right. Bottom says Four Color Offset Reproduction by the Kencolour Division Jahn & Ollier Engraving Company. Proceeds from this sale will benefit students at the Ringling College of Art & Design.

Walter Benoldi was born in Parma, Italy on August 12th, 1914. He studied at the fine arts academy in Milan. At the age of 18 he had his first one man show and had numerous exhibitions in Italy. He was a member of the Pittori Della Realta in Milan.
