Vintage 1961 Polish Film Poster, "Tintin and the Quest of the Golden Fleece". Polish film poster for the French production "Tintin and the Quest/Mystery of the Golden Fleece", directed by Jean Jacques Vierne. Vintage poster from the 1960s. Framed.
Tintin and the Quest for the Golden Fleece (Tintin et le mystère de la toison d'or) is a 1961 Belgian-French film directed by Jean-Jacques Vierne, based on the popular comic series The Adventures of Tintin by Hergé. The film is an adventure story featuring the young reporter Tintin, his dog Snowy, and their companion Captain Haddock. In the film, Tintin and his friends embark on a quest to uncover the mystery surrounding a legendary Golden Fleece, which is connected to a treasure hidden aboard a ship. The plot involves a mix of mystery, intrigue, and the typical humorous escapades that Tintin and his team encounter in their travels. Unlike many of the comic book adventures, the film is an original story, and it incorporates a more light-hearted and playful tone. The film, while not as widely known as some of the later animated adaptations, remains an early example of the Tintin franchise brought to the screen.
