- Lot Description
Tall antique red Chinese wardrobe chest, circa 100 - 1920, on supporting legs. Purchased from East-West Importers in Dallas, Texas, this cabinet is intricately hand-painted in gold and black creating numerous traditional figural landscape scenes with original bronze sliding lock mechanism. Interior in original condition with two mid-level drawers. A wax seal verso is included in photographs. A one inch hole, also photographed, was cut center back for more recent use with electronic devices. Condition commensurate with age.
