Titled "A Side Street in Beauvais" black & white architectural etching numbered 50/100, signed in ink. Samuel Chamberlain was active/lived in Massachusetts, Iowa, and is known for graphics, sketch-structure-views. Born in Iowa, Chamberlain was an accomplished etcher, lithographer, writer, teacher, and lecturer. He taught at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and lectured on various graphic techniques such as etching, drypoint, and softground etching.
