Reuben Timmins (1910-1994) American, 3 Framed Comic Panels. Three comic panels by renowned illustrator/animator Reuben Timms, with various characters having a pithy conversation on a park bench. Panels signed near either bottom corner. Framed.
Overall Size: 9 1/4 x 9 1/4 in.
Sight Size: 8 1/4 x 10 3/4 in.Reuben Timmins (1910–1994) was an American animator and director known for his significant contributions to early animated television series. Born in New York City as Reuben Timinsky, he began his career in the 1930s with the Fleischer Brothers, animating several Betty Boop cartoons, including By the Beautiful Sea (1931) and Shine on Harvest Moon (1932). Throughout his career, Timmins worked with various animation studios, contributing to projects such as Spider-Man (1967), Mighty Mouse in the Great Space Chase (1982), and Flash Gordon (1979). Additionally, he drew comics based on the Laurel & Hardy film duo and sometimes worked under the pen name Reuben Timinsky. Timmins passed away on March 10, 1994, at the age of 84.
