Pamela Della (California b. 1927) Original Pastel "Golden Gate Bridge" Signed. Best of Show Award Winner in the 1987, 1995, 2000, and 2005 Society of Western Artist Annuals. These awards were given for paintings in oil pastel, pastel, and oil media. Best of Show Awards in the Alamo-Danville Art Association and Diablo Art Association Annuals. Silver, purchase, and special awards at the Alameda County Fair beginning in 1985. First award for pastel medium, Haggin Museum Art League Biennial, Stockton, CA in 2010. Pam taught oil still life and landscape painting and pastel portrait painting for the Acalanes Adult Center in Lafayette for 26 years. She was director of the internationally acclaimed Jade Fon Asilomar watercolor workshops in Pacific Grove, California for 17 years, after the passing of founder Jade Fon. Pam is a signature member of the prestigious Society of Western Artists, San Francisco, the Pastel Society of America, New York, California Watercolor Society, Walnut Creek, and accepted in four Oil Painters of America annual shows.
