Nora Drummond (1862–1949) Reproduction Hunting Print, "Going to Cover". Reproduction print of an oil paining by Nora Drummon depicting a fox hunt, the mounted hunter surrounded by a group of hunting hounds, checking the foliage for his quarry. Signed in plate lower left. Attributed lower left. Framed.

Nora Drummond (1862–1949) was a Canadian-born British artist known for her detailed watercolors and illustrations depicting rural life, hunting scenes, and animals, particularly dogs and horses. She studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in London and contributed artwork to various publications, including The Illustrated London News. Drummond’s work captured the charm and vitality of countryside settings, often emphasizing the bond between humans and animals. Later in life, she immigrated to Canada, where she continued painting and teaching art.
