Condition: Part of frame coming loose in back.

Marvin "Murf" Murphy (born 1958 in Miami, Florida) is an American abstract artist renowned for his multi-dimensional mixed media creations. Beginning his artistic journey in his teens, Murf experimented with acrylic sheets and multiple glass panels, developing a distinctive technique that combines hand-cut details with vibrant colors and dynamic forms. In 1990, he published his first lithographs, notably the Art Deco Jazz Series, which debuted at the 1991 New York Art Expo. Over his three-decade-long career, Murf's work has gained international recognition, featuring in prominent galleries and exhibitions worldwide. His art is influenced by his passion for music, science, and nature, and he has actively contributed to environmental, educational, and social causes through his designs. Murf's legacy continues through his four daughters, who are also artists, and together they showcase their work at The Murphy House Studio in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
