A neo-expressionist illustration of a Native American warrior, bow drawn and at the ready, on a galloping horse, rendered against a bold red backdrop. Signed lower right. Signed and titled verso. Unframed. Certificate of Authenticity included from Feathers Gallery.

Malcolm Furlow (1946–2023) was an American artist known for his vibrant, expressive paintings that blended Western and Native American themes with bold color and dynamic energy. Before becoming a full-time painter, he worked as a graphic artist and set designer in the entertainment industry. His work often depicted the landscapes, people, and culture of the American Southwest, drawing inspiration from his Cherokee heritage. Furlow received numerous accolades for his art, and his pieces are featured in private and public collections worldwide, leaving a lasting impact on contemporary Southwestern art.
