Isaac Soyer (1902–1981) was a Russian-born American artist known for his realist paintings that often depicted everyday life and working-class subjects. Born in Borisoglebsk, Russia, he immigrated to the United States in 1912 with his family, including his brothers Moses and Raphael, who also became well-known artists. Isaac studied at the National Academy of Design and the Art Students League in New York. His work was characterized by a focus on intimate, human-centered scenes, often portraying workers, families, and interior settings with warmth and sensitivity. Soyer's art is celebrated for its emotional depth and social realism.Condition
