Nautical impressionist painting of small sailboats launching off to sea.
Condition: Some dirt or mold spots.

Hubert Valerio (1908–1990) was an Austrian painter celebrated for his landscapes and cityscapes, often depicting European scenes such as Venetian canals and the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Born in Vienna, he studied at the Industrial School of Art under Professor Hauser and traveled extensively through Italy and Switzerland, drawing inspiration from their diverse environments. His work, characterized by a mid-century heavy impasto technique, was exhibited at the Hagenbund and galleries in Vienna, Linz, and Graz. Valerio's art continues to be appreciated in auctions and collections worldwide.#5748
