Grace Bentley-Scheck is a contemporary American printmaker, born in Troy, New York, who now resides in Rhode Island where she operates her studio, Sassafras Press. Specializing in the collagraph technique, Bentley-Scheck creates layered plates using diverse materials like cardboard and sandpaper to produce richly textured prints. Her work often explores the passage of time through architectural subjects, inspired by her father's background as a civil engineer. She has a deep interest in urban spaces and their evolution, blending historical reverence with artistic innovation. Bentley-Scheck holds BFA and MFA degrees from Alfred University and is affiliated with organizations such as The Boston Printmakers and the Society of American Graphic Artists. - Shipping Info
