Mixed technique artwork of a slightly distraught bird against a yellow-green sky and in dark green grass.

Giuseppe Napoli (1929–1967) was an Italian-American artist based in New York, known for his abstract expressionist style that bridged both European and American artistic influences. Born in Italy, he moved to the United States where he became part of the vibrant New York art scene during the mid-20th century. Napoli's work was characterized by dynamic compositions, bold color use, and an emphasis on texture and form. His contributions to abstract art garnered attention in galleries, and his work is considered a significant part of the postwar American avant-garde movement. Despite his relatively short life, Napoli's work continues to be appreciated for its emotional depth and innovative approach to abstraction.
