Floral Vase And Jar. Yellow floral moriage Japanese vase. Chinese blue and white prunus blossom jar. Decorated with prunus or plum blossom the flowering plum holds a special place in Chinese literature and art because the plum is the first of the fruit trees to bloom in late winter/early spring with its buds and tender petals emerging on bare limbs before the first leaves appear, it is associated with the end of winter and the dawning of spring and therefore endurance and hope.
