Dan Lacey was an American painter known for his satirical and surreal portraiture, often featuring public figures with whimsical or absurd elements, such as pancakes balanced on their heads. His work, blending political and pop culture commentary with humor, gained a cult following online. Lacey's paintings, which ranged from internet memes to thoughtful social critique, were widely shared and sometimes controversial.
