Brand New Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair & Ottoman. Proceeds go to support Temple Beth Israel Fund, Longboat Key Florida.
The relationship between Charles and Ray Eames and Herman Miller is one of the most significant and fruitful partnerships in the history of modern furniture design. It began in the mid-1940s and continued for several decades, resulting in iconic pieces that are still celebrated and produced today.
Perhaps their most famous creation, the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman (1956) became a symbol of mid-century modern design and luxurious comfort. It was inspired by the traditional English club chair and combined molded plywood, leather upholstery, and a focus on ergonomic support.
