Antique Heisey Glass Basket With Etched Flowers.
Heisey Glass Company, founded in 1896 by A.H. Heisey in Newark, Ohio, became renowned for its fine crystal and glassware. The company was known for its high-quality, handcrafted glass products, including elegant tableware, stemware, and decorative items, often featuring intricate patterns and designs. Heisey introduced several innovative techniques, such as the use of color and etched patterns, which made their pieces highly sought after. The company operated successfully for much of the 20th century but eventually ceased production in 1957 due to changing market conditions and competition. Today, Heisey glassware is still highly collectible and regarded for its craftsmanship and beauty.
