Antique Chinese Carved Jade Snuff Bottle. Snuff bottle of carved pale rose jade decorated in low relief with scene of mountains and lake, with focus on a blooming flower on one side. Compressed ovoid form on raised oval foot.
Chinese snuff bottles are small, intricately crafted containers designed to hold powdered tobacco, introduced to China during the Qing dynasty. Used for both practical and decorative purposes, these bottles reflect the artistry and craftsmanship of their time, often made from materials like glass, jade, porcelain, or metal and adorned with detailed carvings, paintings, or inlays.
