Agate Belt Buckle. Belt buckle with agate cabochons arranged in starburst pattern.
Agate is a banded variety of chalcedony, a mineral in the quartz family, known for its wide range of colors and intricate patterns. Formed in volcanic rocks, agate typically exhibits concentric bands of various hues, including reds, blues, browns, and whites, though it can also be found in a solid color. Highly prized for its aesthetic appeal, agate has been used in jewelry, ornaments, and as a healing stone for centuries. Each piece is unique, with natural patterns formed by the gradual deposition of minerals in cavities of volcanic rocks. Agate is also believed to have grounding and stabilizing properties in metaphysical practices.
