A. Dasha Reich (B. 1946) "Cobalt Dots" Czech Republic. Famous for latex and Resin Colorful designs this piece is a clean colorful shiny look she is known for. Born in Prague to Holocaust survivors, Andrea Dasha Reich had an early life subjected to a continuum of Communism and all of its restrictions. Her dissident Father’s fight against the regime would resulted in the entire family being evicted from their homeland. Leaving behind the dark world of Czechoslovakia, and suddenly finding herself arriving in Jerusalem, a place saturated in sunlight, and vibrant bursts of colors than spanned farther than the eye could see had a profound affect on the young Andrea Dasha Reich. Suddenly and almost magically she was free, free to explore the brightly colored be-jeweled landscape that her new world provided. She attended the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, and her passion for Art was born and would later become her way of life. At the age of nineteen, Andrea Dasha Reich left Jerusalem and migrated again to the Tribeca section of New York City, where she developed a career in the Fashion and Design industry.
