(65) Aeolian Player Piano (Pianola) Music Sheets and Pump. Lot comprised of sixty-five music sheets manufactured for use with the Aeolian player piano.
Aeolian pianos were produced by the Aeolian Company, a prominent American manufacturer of pianos and player pianos from the late 19th to the mid-20th century. Founded in the 19th century, Aeolian became one of the largest makers of self-playing instruments, pioneering the production of player pianos and the Duo-Art reproducing piano system. The company owned several well-known piano brands, including Weber, Steck, and Knabe, and was instrumental in making music more accessible to homes. Aeolian pianos are known for their craftsmanship, durability, and rich tone, and vintage models remain sought after by collectors and musicians.
